But maybe not this weekend. Skylar (on far left), had the appendectomy this afternoon and along with the enlarged appendix, they discovered an ovarian cyst had burst. No wonder the poor kid was in such pain. So thankful that she did fine. We took her some Japanese broth soup, her fav, since she hasn’t eaten in 3 days. This photo is from the taped version of the school play that they showed at the movie theater tonight. Luckily, they filmed it last week before her issues started.
What a busy day. I had my first heart nuclear stress test today. We had lunch with a friend who had the same procedure at the same lab. Then we went to watch the play and attended Confirmation practice for our grandson. We probably had one of the fiercest thunderstorms I’ve witnessed during practice. My son estimates winds were 50-60 mph. It was too late to cook, so we grabbed wings and salad before taking the soup. Our daily meditation was spot on today: “Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid.” Thanks for the visit. It’s past my bed time.
