Hope for the Future

Another warm, occasionally rainy day with another storm but not as bad as last night. My shoulder is almost completely healed so my orthopedic doctor released me today. The cardiologist says my heart is in great shape as well. I celebrated by shopping for flower and vegetable plants. My garden now has lettuce, tomatoes, sweet peppers and I have yellow squash and zucchini seedlings to plant next week. The edge will have marigolds to lend color to the garden. The greenhouse had vinca today so I got a flat and some lantana as gifts for my mother. My sister and I always plant a garden for her for Mother’s Day. Tomorrow, hopefully I can get my flower plants in hanging baskets and in the new gardens by my shed. The azalea blossoms looked so soft this morning; had to share a few with you. Hubby is helping our son-in-law power wash the outside statuary at church so everything will look wonderful for the bishop’s visit. My granddaughter was released from the hospital; so many blessings today. Thank you, Lord. And thank you blip friends, for your kindness and concern. Hope you had a great Cinco de Mayo with loads of tacos and guacamole! Yum!!
