Crookston Castle
A walk to Crookston Castle off set the Sunday breakfast croissant (with butter and marmalade). I had never been keen on this excursion thinking that it would involve quite a lot of walking beside busy roads, this was not really the case with two thirds being in Pollok Park. The castle is Glasgow’s only remaining medieval castle and claims to be the place where Mary Queen of Scots got engaged to Darnley. I’ll go back when it’s open and explore more of Ross Hall Park which I have also never visited.
Afternoon with the papers followed by an early evening indoor swim.
