Wild Whitby

Terrible weather today...gothic weather if you will!

Arrived in Whitby to sleaty rain and a magnificently turbulent sea. Ventured out on the bottom of the slipway to take a few pictures. It was so rough on this part of the harbour that it was cordoned off. The waves at times were as high as the little lighthouse.

First day of our week here and we found that the tv has no signal, probably due to the weather. I don't mind though as we have already been playing charades and doing other things. Just so good to be here!
