199 Steps

Having to back blip this as I couldn't get an internet connection yesterday. Sat in the Duke of York having a pint and using their wifi. Could be worse, eh!

It snowed on Mothers Day here in Whitby! It settled too and made the place look beautiful. We watched a car spin turning to drive up Khyber Pass, but thankfully it corrected itself and made its way up the hill! What a terrific view we have from our cottage. A view of the harbour and across to West Cliffe....love it!

Mom, despite it being Mothers Day, insisted on cooking a roast dinner (give her time in the cottage to herself she said) and sent dad and I packing to the pub for a pint while it cooked, so we went to The Board for an hour...who were we to argue!

After dinner I took mom out to Sherlocks for a cream tea and scone. We got the tv back so no need to play parlour games today, a pity as I was enjoying playing charades!
