Oifig an Phoist

Feeling a bit achy and floaty today after the vaccine and not a jot of energy though we did manage to do a 5 mile walk beyond Kilcoe before the rain came. Little country roads, a lot of gorse, vernacular gates, calves and much dereliction. This used to be the old Post Office, its snazzy colours just about hanging on. Further on in the walk the buildings deteriorated further - the one in the extras was rammed with plastic. We ended up at Roaringwater Pier where the little blue and white timber cottage sits majestically under a rock and in front of the estuary.
Apologies if there's not much commenting tonight but I'll catch up over the weekend,
And don't forget to wash your face in the dew first thing tomorrow morning, May morning, to ensure continued radiance. Currently lashing here and cold but it will be done!
