Five Long Years

and yet the pain can be as fresh as if it were yesterday.

I miss my precious girl everyday.


I visited Jewelz' grave this morning. It made me sad to see how overgrown it was as it made it difficult to tell her exact spot...but I suppose that's ok.

Later I bought myself some Lucky Charms to prove that I'm not really getting any older (at least not growing up yet!). While in store I 'bumped' into this pigeon browsing the bird feed isle! Haha!
In the afternoon Cathie and I took Toby and Jodie a walk at Linton. We could actually cross the stepping stones (last time we were here we couldn't even see them!). Toby, as always, nimbly jumped on each stepping stone. Jodie ...... just swam!
