Lilies
A gorgeous day - sunburn warnings in place- we must have reached the dizzying heights of 18C and there was quite a lot of unadvised white flesh on display in Bantry when I went to get some bird food!
A nice catch up with Sue the House Sitter those morning. She's now ensconced in the very north of North Island, NZ and loving it but missing Ireland.
A very enjoyable WhatsApp with Esme and Joe last night - we were chatting for nearly an hour and invited to play with her magnetic fish, her triangle game and admire her animal friends, notably Mr Fox. We got stuck in. Momo and Dado are in the phone she occasionally muses! She was wearing her rainbow tutu and leopardskin legging plus hat - pretty cool.
Himself has been hard at work today, cementing things, mowing things and I'm not sure what I've done. We had a quick windblown yomp round the circuit minor and these lilies caught my eye. Apparently they are classified as wildflowers and you do find them all over the place, also called altar lilies/Easter lilies and they love a bit of damp!
