Takaka River

A beautiful day after yesterday's rain. We were on Grandies' duty and had the added excitement of the duplo train and push along bumblebee arriving.
All the seeds we planted a couple of weeks ago are popping up. Will they flourish in the winter?
A walk down to the river. Some great colours but the water is icy, a paddle only taken.
Tomorrow is Anzac Day and as a nominal Kiwi I shall get up at 6am and wander down the drive as requested by Jacinda and take part in the collective commemorations.
