A day in Doncaster

Eldest granddaughter had a swimming lesson in the morning, so dad took her to that whilst Mrs madwill looked after the youngest and I finished of the fence and gate I started on Thursday.

We then took the girls to Brodsworth Hall - taking a picnic lunch with us. We spent all afternoon in the grounds, stopping for a cup of tea and an ice cream..

While we were there a game of croquet was in progress on the lawn...it all looked very serious with the players dressed in full whites.

A beautiful sunny afternoon...hopefully the girls will be tired...we are shattered!
