The yellow flowers of the lesser celandine lining our local lane. We walk along here several times each day as part of our dog walks. On week day mornings I go on my own as I need to get out and back earlier than Andy and Merlin. But in the early evening we all go together.

We’ve been playing catch amongst the three of us with Merlin’s ball on our walks in the field. Merlin loves it, waiting patiently for his turn to catch his ball, then running off enthusiastically to collect and return it.

Feeling tired today so I’ve already had a bath and am ready to rest in bed with a book.
