Long Trousers

Up and out after coffee and toast, in long trousers, blazer shirt and tie. I mention long trousers as the last time I wore them as opposed to shorts was at the Remembrance Parade back in November.
Today was the delayed St Nazaire Raid commemoration. Limited to only fifteen attendees we had the privilege of meeting a new one. Amy Thom, the granddaughter of Lieutenant Colonel Augustus Charles Newman VC has recently moved into the area and attended for the first time.

Back home, changed and out for a walk, taking in the cemetery and the circuit home. Paddy doesn’t seem impressed by the length of some of these walks.
