Vennel

Decided to take a short stroll through the old town.  Jaffa wasn't terribly impressed with this as a) there's no river to play in and b) it's not the beach.  Even chasing the ball in The Meadows didn't pacify her.  But it was still fun, in an an eerily-quiet sort of way.  And for some reason, despite living here nearly half my life, I've never walked down the Vennel to the Grassmarket.  So that's that ticked off now.  I never thought I'd say this, but can't wait to be dodging tourists and tour groups and hen parties and festival goers...
