Freedom!

Scotland’s lockdown eased a little today: we are finally able to travel freely again. There was really only one destination to celebrate. Our favourite nearby beach. It’s been so close but out of bounds.
We had feared the worst, anticipating hordes of people doing the same as us. But when we got there we almost had it to ourselves. Jaffa ran and ran (she never waits to see where you’re throwing the ball - she just takes off in excitement and hopes you’ll throw it in roughly the same direction.)
It was great to be back. Amazing how a relatively small set of removed civil liberties starts to feel unbearably stifling.
