Yellow Daffs

I bought a bunch of daffodils yesterday to give to my neighbour as a thank you for collecting our post while we were away. However, I decided that I would blip them before giving them to her as they're so pretty. I took a few different shots, but like this one with the close up on the stamen and the light through the petals.

Alan is on his way to Dusseldorf in Germany today for a meeting and I'm working, so my friend Mary has offered to have Louis for the day so he's not home alone. It would be a long day for him as I don't finish work until 6.15pm and Alan's had to take the car, so I'll have to walk home.

So, I'm now getting ready for work, but going for a hot chocolate with a friend before I start. I hope the daffodil has brightened up your day, as it has mine!
