Breakfast at Treacle's

I met Sandra my colleague at the bus stop this morning, and as we were early she asked if I fancied going for a coffee before work as she wanted to try this lovely little cafe called Treacle & Co. It was very French looking, and there were lots of lovely homemade cakes on the counter as you can see. I ordered a hot chocolate and we decided we'd have some toast and jam for breakfast while we were there - it was a lovely start to the day and we said we'll do it again.

Work went ok again, and at lunch time Chrissy, Kate, Alison and Sarah came to meet me for lunch. I'd booked a table at a little cafe just down the road from the office, but when they got there, there wasn't a table free - the cafe had reserved it for 12pm instead of 1pm, so we went to a Turkish restaurant next door which was very nice.

Alan was planning to come and meet me from work tonight to go for a drink, but my throat was even worse this morning and I've started coughing, so I said I'd rather just come home, and we're having a relaxing night in front of the TV. Goggle Box starts again tonight and my hairdresser has been signed up again for this series, so I'm looking forward to watching it.

Louis had his first proper walk with the dog walker and the other dogs this afternoon and she left a note to say that he was fine, although he was a little unsettled at first when he met the other dogs, but he soon settled down and enjoyed his walk. When Alan got home he said Louis was very excited, and he was the same with me as well, so I think he was trying to tell us about his day lol!
