Fallen flowers

Hubby and I went for a very lovely and very peaceful walk at our local National Trust property Crarae Gardens. It's a wooded glen which has been planted with ornate rhododendrons and other things, see extra. It was a beautiful day and we really had the place to ourselves so we sat in the sun for a while. The flowers are not fully out yet but I never see them when they are as it's too expensive to get in.

I did see my first Nuthatch while I was there, I have been wanting to see one for months. They are just spreading into our county this year.

Lots of gardening for the rest of the day
