Raindrops on roses....
Cooler again today, unlike the rest of the UK which was basking in Spring sunshine for a second day.
I went down to Waitrose again to pick up some lamb for our Easter Sunday lunch and of course ended up getting a few other things including some very pretty red and yellow bi-colour roses. Good to blip when they open a bit more. Popped into Herbies for some salami and cold meats, yummy. I walked for around 2 miles which was not excessive, but good to do.
After I got home I booked and paid for the wedding lunches which will be picked up on the 9th and distributed to the various households. Not quite the same as a full meal and reception, but we're looking forward to it very much. It's all coming together.
The weather deteriorated once I got home. The latter part of the afternoon was decidedly damp.
The blip is of the front lawn in the rain. It was not much more than a smirr, but it was very wet and I thought the raindrops on the grass looked lovely.
We watched the second episode of series 1 of Line of Duty this evening, slowly coming to some idea of what is going on and glad we've got several series to look forward too. Colin is now fasting as he goes in tomorrow for a repeat of his tests under GA, hopefully he'll be home again tomorrow evening.
Had shocking news of a friend, hard to come to terms with. Hopefully the support network will kick in for her.
Keep safe and well everybody, more relaxation of the rules is coming, let's hope we can keep this virus under control.
