Sally Mair - Loving life

Say Cheese!

Today was much warmer, around 15' by 9am, not sunny sadly.
I walked down to Stockbridge and bought some essentials like, cheese from Mewes and MacRed apples from the shop by the post office. On my way back I cashed in a free coffee from my Dobbies card. I've not exactly made the most of them over the past year.
I sat down on one of the benches nearby to relax and my attention was caught by this young woman. She was very smartly dressed and had her camera set up on a tripod and was posing in front of the blank wall. She must have been taking videos or had her camera set to take bursts as she kept moving. At one point she took her hair down and shook it out. I have no idea what she was doing or why but it was fun to watch and speculate.
A man who was also intrigued and I shared several ideas and as she was leaving he asked her if she was taking pictures to send home to her boyfriend, but she smiled and said she was too busy for boys!
We had a treat for dinner: liver and onions, it was my childhood favourite and for some reason we both fancied some, not having had it for years. It won't be so long until we have it again though, delicious!
Zoom Bridge tonight which we both enjoyed. We've also booked in for our Easter service next Sunday. Church was full on Palm Sunday apparently so we want to make sure of getting a seat.
We watched the last episode on Unforgotten last night, excellent.
Now it's time to settle in for several series of Line of Duty.
Keep safe everybody and stay careful, life feels as if it is slowly easing back towards a degree of normality.
