Finally Finished - (Its Official)

The stained/treated plank fronts survived last nights rain (I expected them to).  I reassembled the fronts, including re-pneumatic-stapling the waterproof membrane to the bottom two planks (see the connector strips holding them together).  I added rings and wire ties to hold them in place once the planks were fitted, so that they don’t wobble too much. The idea is that the entire fronts can be removed when needed to give access to the festering compost behind.   Mrs SoL inspected them and agreed that I was allowed to say they are finished.  Phew!
Extra pic is of part of the old system that will now be dismantled.  You can see the rotten bases and (excellent) compost overflowing from the base.  That will be put on the raised beds (see previous blips) and the still-festering stuff will be transferred to one of the new beds.
Finding lots of chafer-bug maggots - chickens love them!  9 eggs from 10 girls today! (They must be happy)
