Quack-Quack

A tease of early summer as afternoon temperatures actually hit 60F today!! It’s funny how optimistic my brain is when the sun is shining :) • The river was alive with activity this morning. We watched mallards and mergansers paddling around the water’s edge; two groups of Canada geese flew by, heading upriver; while adult and juvenile eagles soared and circled overhead. We’re anxiously awaiting the return of ospreys and cormorants! • We zoomed with our niece and her family this afternoon. Her oldest turns 10 this week but they wanted to have a pre-celebration today while Daddy was home. Dino Bingo was the highlight :) • After tidying up a few things in the house the basketball viewing will begin. We’ll check out both men’s and women’s teams today. They play simultaneously on multiple channels so we catch several minutes of many different games. I think that’s why it’s called March Madness!! • Hope you’re enjoying a peaceful Sunday!
