Uncommon

Today is MrsP’s birthday!! Being a sunny and warm Saturday we stuck close to home because of potential crowds. We enjoyed a breakfast picnic at the river, visited a couple of other river spots, and then our favorite little pond we haven’t seen since last Fall. Despite ice on the pond and patches of snow hanging on, the trees were alive with birdsong. We spotted a Red-winged Blackbird, a new spring arrival, and several of these blackbirds, the Common Grackle, although uncommon to us. We’re anxious to return soon to see what else is new • MrsP is looking forward to a roasted veggie dinner with dairy free sundaes for dessert; she has a few presents and cards to open too. The kitties are anxiously awaiting for wrapping paper to hit the floor ;) • College Basketball and an ice cold brew are awaiting our attention! Enjoy your Saturday :)
