Redstart

I felt rather tired today and haven't yet shaken off a dull headache I had over the weekend. I decided therefore just to do a gentle walk down to the river and sit in the sun to see what I could spot.  This female redstart obliged. There was a cool breeze but in sheltered spots the sun felt warm. I did some gentle yin yoga in the morning and in the afternoon took part in our French conversation group. After a bit of general chat, we studied an article from a history magazine about the origins of brioche.
