Lenticular clouds

I spotted these lenticular clouds. They are not that uncommon here due to the mountains and can be quite spectacular at sunset. Today did not turn out as planned. I made bread in the morning and went for a walk. Then the post came with a letter from the Social Security. I am still chasing a large payment for blood tests taken in November. First they said the correct number was not on the form although it was on all the other forms so they could have copied it across quite easily. I returned everything and now they want the doctor's prescription which was actually sent with the original documentation. I have sent a copy but it will be another two months now. They said the fonctionaires return documents deliberately so they can create more administration to protect their jobs! I had planned to go round to a friend's this afternoon to mend two clocks.  When I got there, she was in her dressing gown with her leg all strapped up after a fall. I fixed her clocks but then went on an errand to the pharmacy to get crutches and medicines she could not get herself.
