School's in!
Finally, we are back in the classroom! It has been three months since we last saw one another other than on Zoom and it was so much better today.
Since the college does not have to follow the edicts of the hopeless Gavin Williamson, our weekly online sessions have not been lessons - the course has been on hold - but more concerned with keeping us ticking over. That has been really valuable but I am so sorry for the all of the children who have been expected to learn solely online.
Anyway, the resumption of classes meant that I also enjoyed my walk to school along The Crescent, passing the loop in the Irwell that cradles The Meadow. There are a lot of regeneration plans for this area and one of them involves building a bridge from where I was standing across to The Meadow. Honestly, if they do half* of what's planned, it's going to be amazing.
*Although, for clarity, I'm not suggesting half a bridge would be any good.
