Seed Potatoes

These are my seed potatoes ready for "chitting". They were bought yesterday at the Dunblane Potato Day , an event which seems to become busier every year. Here they sell a wide range of seed potatoes and you can buy as many (or as few) as you wish so it is ideal for gardeners with plots of varying sizes. I go for three rows ,each with a different type (and harvest time) of potato. I have noticed that one or two blippers from the area were at the Potato Day....can we look forward to blips of bountiful crops of spuds come the autumn?

Football Footnote-- those of you who may have a passing interest in the fortunes of Hibernian will note that after an extremely good performance today we beat Kilmarnock 4-2 and are now in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.....is it our year?
