Edinburgh - Trams on Track

Finally the tram system in Edinburgh is about to start operating, several years late and presumably well over the original budget. The trams are not yet in public service but are undergoing trials and tests. This one was finding its way along Princes Street today on a beautiful sunny morning. It now remains to be seen if the investment in this system was worth it.
Edinburgh was ,I thought, looking its resplendent best under blue skies and huge cumulus clouds. When seen like this it sits up there among the greatest cities.
