Drab & Derelict

Another ok night, woke up several times, but the usual 4.30 oxygen turn off, then woke up just after 8.30, down to make a brew, a bit grey today.......still chilly too!

Breakfast downstairs, hub made his own toSted scone this morning ;-) I had my usual fruit & yogurt.

Out for coffee by 11...... hub had a toasted sandwich too, we sat chatting putting the world to rights for a while, then I toddled off to get some steps in, left hub people watching a while. As I got back I could see he was chatting....face timing daughter I guessed and was right, as I got back in the car they were still nattering.

Once we got home I put all the "stuff" back in the car, post its valeting, the. did a bit of tidying in the front and back garden, dead headed the hydrangeas finally lol! He pond is such a mess, I could cry......just need a couple of warmer days so I can get stuck in and sort it out!!!!

I browned a piece of brisket, sat it on a bed of softened onions, celery and carrots, , wrapped the top in foil, then sat the lid on top too, put it in the oven on lowish for 3 hours :-))
The plan was to have roast potatoes, carrots, sugar snap peas and gravy.....but hub had other ideas!

I went out again around 3.30 to finish off my step count before the Manchester Derby started at 4.30pm. Really grey and a chilly wind too, but got them done......back home in good time for kick off, not that I was holding out much hope the way Man City have been playing.

Todays blip is an empty derelict building that Ive passed a few times, not sure whether its an old market or warehouse, with those door overhangs.....have tried to find out, without success :-/ but think it fits the bill for Derelict Sunday ;-)

Hub informed me he didnt fancy a full roast dinner, so instead I ccooked a baguette, which he had filled with warm shredded beef and thick gravy, he thoroughly enjoyed it. I ended up having the same, the potatoes and veg will be cooked tomorrow instead. The match was a tually entertaining from Uniteds point of view, a win for us 0-2, did not see that coming one bit!

We've just had some dessert, sponge pudd and custard, about to make a cuppa next.

Been feeling a bit tired today, but have topped the 10k mark, as you can see in extras :-)
The donations have slowed down now, as I knew they would wventually, but Im still hopeful of the odd one or two now and again.
Thankyou if you have and please think avout it if you havent, it would be very much appreciated :-) you can click hte link below :-)
Thank you xx
