Flyboarding

Wow - what can I say except - The Mistress wants to do it! I'm quite happy not to though, wouldn't want to get my inner workings wet!

The Mistress and her daughter headed to Takapuna Beach today for the day. They told all their friends where they were and told them to come between 10am and 6pm and join us for food, swims and sunshine. What a wonderful day socialising with everyone who came, and most donned togs and swam. I don't have togs though so I stayed up on the picnic rug!

Lots of things to photograph - but the Mistress was mostly fascinated in the Flyboarding that was going on. These guys were doing the most amazing Acrobatics, diving, doing 360 degree flips, and all sorts. The Mistress reckons when she wins lotto, she'll buy one. She said it looks so much fun.

When the Mistress lived in Auckland (for 40 years up until 3 years ago when she moved to Blenheim), She lived only a few kilometres from this beach. She tells me as a child she swam here most summers. As she got older, she rarely came to the beach. It took a move from, the Daughter to Europe, and the Mistress to the South, to appreciate such a beautiful spot.

We all really enjoyed the day here - beautiful weather, and stunning location.
