Driving Home
Now the mistress remembers why she moved to Blenheim 3 years ago, but it took a motorway drive from Pukekohe back to the North Shore with a stop in Symonds street to drop her daughter off at a pub, a detour round Mt Eden and back onto the motorway at Gillies Avenue. What a nightmare she said. This was, Rush Hour. Sigh.
We had a great day though - drove to Karaka to her niece's studio where she had a photoshoot of the Mistress and the Daughter for 2.5 hours - makeup and hair done, then the shoot itself. I was most put out - they were using a Canon 5D Mk 2 and I was left in my bag! The Mistress has already seen a couple of photos and is wonderfully impressed. She can see her daughter will be on a big canvas in her lounge in a few weeks! Hmph!
Lunch with Dad and Delphine - in Pukekohe - very nice lunch too - scallops and Spy Valley Wine from Marlborough. Afternoon tea at her dads place, then the nightmare drive home :) I was not used at all!!
All in all a good day in Auckland. The Mistress says she loves Rush Hour in Blenheim much better though :)
