Why Mummy Drinks

Watching how daughter#1 is coping with her two small boys while working from home during the lockdowns has given me a few ideas. Perhaps I should have borrowed the book but I wasn't keen on entering the rather small library we came across on our walk to Eastington.

In other news it was good to see that there is now a pair of egrets in the area, so maybe love is in the air for Greta.

Out of the blue our bathroom fitter turned up this afternoon to fit some small parts to a drawer in the en suite which we have been waiting for since the job was done in September. To be honest I never expected to see him again, but it's good that he came as we were pleased with the job he did and would like to consider him for the main bathroom renovation which is also on our to do list.

Camera club tonight, doesn't it come around quickly. It's a battle tonight v Tetbury. They beat us by one point in the recent WCPF DPIC competition, so it should be close.

Finally I have added an extra - ice world. I found a huge block of ice in one of the pots by the side of the house, Sadly the ice cracked the pot beyond repair but inside the ice it was like a mini world. I wouldn't have been surprised to see a goldfish suspended there.
