Valentine's Rose

It's been too rainy and cold to venture out today, but luckily as it's Valentine's Day there are roses I can blip.

We've still had a nice day. Croissants and pains au chocolat from the takeaway yesterday for breakfast, and toasted sandwiches for lunch.

Then, (top tip) we simulated a visit to a National Trust property by having a cream tea in the afternoon (scones also from yesterday's takeaway visit) with me standing in the corner of the living room describing the fireplace and numerous Pre-Raphaelite prints on the walls.

This evening we have beef bourguignon from the Cook range to look forward to. I bought this as a back up in case the takeaway curry didn't happen yesterday, but it did, and it was very nice.

We're still doing our 5:2 diet but I think we may get knocked back a bit this weekend. Did I mention we also have a box of Thorntons chocolates which we are steadily working our way through.
