Canalside

The half way point on my walk today, in balmy 10.5C heat, was this site by the summit pound. It is usually a messy eyesore but today, from this angle, I thought it didn't look too bad.

Elsewhere the surface of the canal was still icy, with plenty of Canada geese walking around on it.
