Nothing Ever Happens

I know that lockdown life isn’t meant to be action packed and fun filled, but today has been exceptionally quiet.
Mainly because I’ve spent most of it in bed. Twelve hours before that photo was taken, I was being very ill, with an extremely upset stomach. Don’t know what caused it - Mrs C ate much the same as me yesterday and she is fine. Given that we have to minimise contact with other people at all times, it seems unlikely I would have picked up a stomach bug. The only explanation I have is that I may have developed a chill from all the recent walks in sub zero temperatures.
Whatever, watching the hands of that clock slowly go round is pretty much all I’ve done today in between sleeping and desultory bouts of reading.
But it is now twelve hours after “the event” and I had some toast about four hours ago. So far, so good and if this happy state of affairs continues I may even try some soup for tea. Couldn’t actually face having anything heavier than that, at the moment, to be honest.
Hoping it’s only a 24hr thing and all will be back to normal tomorrow. Not least because I had to miss today’s planned workout. I felt that doing squats and crunches probably wasn’t the best idea, in the circumstances!
