Olive groves and blossom
Mrs TT suggested a flat walk today to protect her knee which has twinged a bit since our last climb. We decided on the plain, a walk around four villages through orchards and olive groves, around 12k in all. The mimosa and blossoms were beautiful and we hardly met a soul. We stopped in the little raised village of Joch looking back over the valley for our lunch, sitting on a bench in the sun on the terrace outside the church. It was a sheltered spot and with the temperature at around 16 degrees it felt almost hot! It made me feel for those back in the UK shivering in the cold.
