Tuesday

The title is Tuesday because I spent much of the morning thinking it was Wednesday.  It had clearly continued to snow last night after I went to bed and it continued to snow much of the day. 

But i really had to get out so I walked up to Braid Hills Road and back.  It was blizzarding on the return leg so by the time I got in I was like Nanook of the North.

Willow is not amused by the snow.  She was up to her oxters trekking to the back of the garden and then did that cat thing of throwing the snow up and trying to catch it.  Then she came scurrying in.  It made lentil soup for lunch, very good for a snowy day.  Later I discovered I still have a lot of soup in the freezer. 

I uploaded some photos to One Drive this afternoon and then had a very long call with B in Inverurie.  I am so looking forward to a time when the conversation is not restricted to vaccination schedules.  However, as always it was good to chat with another ooman being.

This evening the SCD group had a Zoom meeting.  Did I say I'm looking to the end of vaccination chat?  And who knew you could do Scottish Country Dancing virtually.  I think I am the only non church going person in the group.  The curtains are open at the front s i could watch it snowing off and on.
