Origami

Another jigsaw, but this is a special one because it was Number 1 in a list of the ten best jigsaws drawn up last year. I bought it, but have only just got round to tackling it. I loved doing the coloured Paper Cranes, but have now got the almost impossible task of filling all the plain spaces. Unlike a Ravensburger jigsaw, where there are different shaped pieces, these are almost all the same. Anyway I will have a go.

In the Guardian today there was a report about how the sale of jigsaws during the pandemic has rocketed, with companies selling many times what they would normally sell. There is a bit of a problem now apparently with puzzles sent from European countries - Brexit issues. It is perhaps significant that most of the ones sold by the independent UK company Cloudberries (who stock this one) are at the moment unavailable. Hopefully they sort things out soon.

Cleaning done today and a lovely Face Time session with the two youngest granddaughters, keen to show us their bedrooms - one large room very cleverly made into two. We were given a conducted tour. And we have  Vaccine appointments for Friday.
