Play Day
I haven't done a single thing today that could be called a chore. (TM conjured up bacon rolls at lunchtime and chicken risotto this evening). He likes cooking, I don't, much.
This morning we sang along with Robyn. In the afternoon we looked at the fog, the drizzle and the rapidly departing snow, and decided that exercise could be postponed. I got out the camera, tripod, etc and look some pictures of the bowl of tulips which are twisted into their final form before meeting the compost heap. Then I had a good old mess about with them.
Then Ali FaceTimed so we could teach Nico some tongue-twisters ( a home-school project). Hal showed us that he can peel and de-stone a lychee at great speed, and Nico performed a dance of her own devising. She was wearing her newly-passed-on-from-a-cousin tap shoes, and giving the kitchen tiles quite a bashing ....
Now we've only to decide in which order we watch Celtic Connections and the Repair Shop.
I could get used to this sort of day :-)
