The tranquility of this shot was briefly disturbed by the incoming of the MV Hoy Head.  As you all know, because it is Monday, she departed straight for Flotta.

CMC provided the taxi for her sister who had to attend the Stromness surgery to get the stitches removed post op.  She was looking remarkably well.

The topic of Latvian  20th century porcelain was mentioned, but only en passant.


I was browsing through the Current Mrs Creel’s ‘Spurtle Monthly’ and I noticed that Mrs McGillivray, based in Tain, is claiming to have the eastern most spurtle in Easter Ross.

Her grandad used to be the Bobby in Lybster.
