A Dismal Day in the Flow
You’ll not find it announced in any court circular but today was the final batch of marmalade. The Current Mrs Creel headed into toon for accordion / badminton / to find a haggis. I explored the nether regions of internet funding pots for the continuing project across at the Hoy Kirk. A singularly dull, dismal, dreary, desolate, dispiriting day. The forecast dreichness didn’t appear. It didn’t have to.
Aficionados of Jane’s Ships will note that the MV Thursvo has taken over the duties of the Hoy Head. She is seen heading to Houton from Hoy.
CMC thinks I’m starting to get dottled. This morning I got lost in the Ben end of Creel HQ. She had to talk me back to base using the tannoy.
I decided to ignore all metafictional constraints, constructs and conceits and went and lifted the final neep of the season. We have plenty of beetroot left. The chutney production line will commence once the marmalade shift has clocked off.
I think Blanche and Desmond are an item.
