Coming To A Head

Joshua arrived home five weeks ago, looking forward to a much deserved spell of leave before heading off to a course in mid January and then back to Forres.
Tier 4, course cancelled, “stay at home and we will contact you” was the initial instructions from his unit. But when you are 20 sitting at home, not allowed out except for exercise, with nowhere to go and nothing to do when you get there, life can be pretty frustrating, especially when your laptop, Play Station, books, mates, purpose, in fact everything are 700 miles away.
So we have talked it over and he is going to head back on Friday, he’ll feel better in himself, there are things he needs to study and it’s where his mates are.
We will miss him, it’s been great having him home.

Today’s Blip Foto, one of the many creeks on the River Fal between Falmouth and Malpas.
