Wet and white

I looked out of the window this morning at around 12.30am and saw this. I hadn't registered that it was due to snow so was surprised.
I was phoned this morning by the hospital to say that my op has been put back to the 4th February. In some ways I'm not surprised, it should originally have been 28th December, then 25th Jan, so only another 10 days later but disappointing. More irritating is that I can't take ibuprofen for another two weeks and it's the only one that really deals with the discomfort. I had to stop two weeks before, so now another two weeks. It's not earth shattering just disappointing.
I'll also be self isolating for an additional two weeks although that is not too much hardship just now.

The snow had largely melted by lunch time, just wet and slushy out there now.
