What's in a name?
Near to us, is an area of streets all called House o' Hill - Road, Street, Avenue etc. All very nice bungalows with large gardens. This house has always had this sign on its gate which makes us smile every time. They've actually just replaced all the letters and now its all shiny and new. They must have a good sense of humour!
Another quiet day, this self isolating is not very stressful. We walked down to the PO to return something to John Lewis, other than that we weren't out. I finished the presentation that I started the other day and then it was time for tea.
Ali popped in briefly to drop off her washing from a safe distance. I've had to promise to leave it a couple of days to kill the bugs off.
Time for bridge this evening and I played the first half as usual. Rotten hands, but not a lot you can do about that.
Keep safe and well everybody. #45 is finally going, I can't help wondering what his parting gesture will be. The idea of him pardoning dangerous people is unnerving, at least he can't pardon himself though.
Perhaps this is the start of things looking up again. If we could only fix the mess here now!
I've just looked out of the window and there's quite a lot of snow arrived over the last half hour. Wish I could still go sledging and feel safe careering down the slopes!
