Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Thursday again

The weeks seem to be zooming by at an alarming rate of knots! It's been another lovely day. This morning I was woken by a robin in the back garden singing its heart out.
Today Ali came round after her morning class with Josie and after lunch we headed off down to Craigleith via the PO. She was looking for a special hot chocolate but there was nothing on offer apart from the usual standard range.
We walked home via the cycle path. Lots of long tailed tits flying around, they are one of my favourite small birds. Josie is becoming more and more alert when we are out and about, she has a lovely smile which she is very generous with. We walked 3.6 miles which is not a bad tally.
My blip is some of the stunning graffiti on the Blackhall path at the bridge under Telford Road. The dragon is being gradually eaten up by the graphic writing underneath. It's holding a large pearl in one of its claws.
Back home I cleaned some cutlery and dishes ready to go to the charity shop. Ali also took some pictures of some of her Nigella Lawson ware. She's going to advertise it on Egg, which I hadn't even heard of. That will hopefully create another couple of spaces in a cupboard.
Colin is up at his mum's for a few days so I watched episode one of the Tourist. Quite gripping but not sure where it is going yet.
Keep safe folks. It's good to see the covid cases going down, I do hope it continues.
