Weir

Out for a wander. The last time I was at this weir it was a lot weer but today the Water of Leith was raging, probably didn’t like being so full. I’d intended going for a longish walk but the bitter wind and flooded walkway had other ideas. Never mind at least I got some fresh air.

Reading the paper earlier I tried to decide on the most ridiculous report. For a long time it looked like Jared & Ivanka’s toilet banishment of their security detail would win (by my reckoning that’s cost the US taxpayers $1.2m) but hats off in the end to Grant Schapps and his comment “...... don’t ask me about travel.” He’s our Transport Minister.
