Car Park

This is as close as I got to playing golf this morning - the car park. Most folk must have sussed that the course would be shut, there was just me and another guy that I chatted to/ moaned with for a while. Seems that the likely way of getting down the hills would be on your backside which is fine for sledging I suppose but not so good for golf. Ah well, there was still coffee in the pot when I got home.
So another quiet day mostly spent reading (Ithaca by Ben Pastor is my current book) before our evening quiz session. A close run thing for a change but the Arnies won with the final question: What is heterochromia? Answers on a postcard please, no googling allowed!
