Sleet not snow

We expected snow today, but it never came. Instead we got that awful sleety stuff. We were amused by the weather map as it was this morning showing us in the central green strip between snowy areas.

We had a good clear out of the freezer and organised it properly, probably for the first time. But the most exciting thing to happen (our excitement threshold is very low at the moment, as it is with most of us!) was the arrival of the Sainsbury delivery. Our first supermarket delivery and we were impressed with the efficiency of it. Here is our delivery lady through the sleet covered window.
