A mono morning in the park

A significant fall of snow during the night .... from the window it looked beautiful but walking in it was rather wet and quite quickly the snow on the main roads and well trodden pavements turned to slush. Those who hoped to sledge were disappointed ..... not the right type of snow.

Sadly, there were no blue skies today and down in my local park    there was a real mono look. Walking back up the hill and passing many gardens I was treated to a splash of colour in a number of red berries.
