Pernettya

This Pernettya, also known as Prickly Heath has very bright, colourful berries but the small, glossy leaves are incredibly jaggy ..... tough gloves essential if you want to do any pruning.

Some good games of badminton this morning  but I'm sure the net was too high as too many of my shots fell on the wrong side of the net!

It has been mostly dry today so I was able to take the dogs out, minus their coats, for their Tuesday walk round the local area. As we pass many gardens I'm always on the look out for a blip. These berries are actually growing in Moira's front garden and I see them every time I collect the dogs.
