Staying at Grandma's!

Monday again today, the start of another week. We spent a quiet day so i took the chance to finish off the marmalade I started yesterday. It seems to have set well but it's hard to tell until its set, if you see what I mean!
Colin picked up Eilidh after school today while I had my Zoom Cursillo reunion group. I went and picked up Isobel from nursery an hour or so later. It was lovely to hear that she'd been telling everybody all day that she was going to grandma's house.
When they got here they were excited to see we'd moved a mattress downstairs to make it easier to lift them when their mum comes. As you can see, the trampoline testing went well. For some reason this is the first time Isobel has ever stayed overnight, or partly at any rate, whereas Eilidh stayed lots in the past.
The extra was a posed shot to send to mum and dad! Butter wouldn't melt!
Dinner went well and they got ready for bed beautifully. That's when things started to slip a bit. Eilidh settled down to read her Secret Seven book and fell asleep quickly. Isobel on the other hand made about six trips through to ask when mum was coming. She has settled down at last and now we'll just see how the transfer to home goes.
